Made in Santa Barbara, our Mens Hemp Shorts are made of 100% Hemp canvas. So they soften with wash and wear. Because there are two sizes women can wear these too. And they are hand dyed for a one of a kind look. Our mid length short is based on a vintage design from the California surf culture of the 1970’s. The ecologically friendly hand dye technique we use for this short creates a unique texture of color. And to preserve the unique color they are great in the ocean but not recommended for chlorinated water. Wash cold, hang dry is our laundering suggestion.

I purchased this pair about two years ago and I love them! I wear them casually and hiking which is key, because durability is neccsessary. But I also discovered that hemp drys a little faster than cotton, also a plus if your traveling and need to hand-wash your clothes in a sink and have them hang dry overnight. I have no issues with the craft man ship and only wish Marcel offered a 100% hemp pant because durability and pricing are excellent! Marcel is also a great person and the epitome of a sustainable local business person, but so friendly! Thank you Marcel!
